They say ’50 is the new 30!’ And now there’s a new brand of travel experiences - designed just for this new generation of travelers - with maturity, busy lives, high expectations, established tastes and as active as ever. Upscale guided travel company Tauck is tapping into the energy of travelers in their 40s and 50s looking for flexibility, soft adventure and one-of-a-kind experiences.
“Roam by Tauck” launches in 2026 with a dozen itineraries across 6 continents by 2027.
The high-end, small-group journeys are available by land, river and small ship and average just 16 guests in a group. Itineraries will range from five to 11 nights to fit a variety of lifestyles and vacation windows. At least 5 journeys are set to launch in the first year for Roam by Tauck.
Avid food and wine enthusiasts, the company says that Roam by Tauck guests have sophisticated tastes and value both guided insider access and the independence to wander off the beaten path. With busy, high-paced lives, Roam guests value seamless travel and not being over-scheduled; luxury stays, signature moments and active opportunities with ample free time to explore, savor and recharge on their own terms.

Roam by Tauck tours will be revealed and open for booking this winter, with first departures set for August 2026. Bookings will initially be available in the U.S. only, priced “for a younger, luxury traveler seeking more flexibility and adventure.”
Tauck’s launch of its first new style of trip in over a decade also marks its 100th anniversary.
